A major UK organisation operating across multiple sites is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its established finance and governance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who enjoys autonomy, stakeholder engagement, and delivering impactful audit work.
About the Role
As Internal Auditor, you will:
- Lead and deliver internal audits across operational and financial processes
- Assess risks, evaluate controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Analyse data and documentation to identify improvements
- Provide independent insight to senior management and audit committees
- Investigate irregularities, fraud concerns and whistleblowing cases
- Build strong working relationships across the business
- This role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to influence business-wide decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and understanding of reporting standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
- High integrity, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word
